SUMMARY:School of Business Topic: Eliminating Organizational Waste & Creating Greater Value for your Organization!
DESCRIPTION:Creating A Lean Enterprise For Greater Success\n\n \n\nA Lean organization is defined as one "performing without waste". Many organizations waste an average of 15 to 20 percent of available resources. Lean offers many powerful methods that can be implemented within the organization as is or integrated with other methods of improvement. Although traditionally used in manufacturing\, for overall organizational improvement\, lean should be incorporated in all types of businesses resulting in improved financial results. \n\n \n\nI will explore why Lean is not a tactic or a cost reduction program\, but a way of thinking and acting for an entire organization. The goal is to identify specific ways to improve efficiency\, effectiveness and quality throughout the organization.\n\n \n\nI will focus on the following:\n\n Creating/Improving Internal Processes\n\n Removing various types of Business Waste\n\n\n\nPresented by: Joseph Mignone\, Managing Partner of The Global Institute of Business Acumen\n\n\n\n"Educating Today's Business Leaders With The Knowledge For Tomorrow's Opportunities"
