9th Annual Advancing the Choice Expo

The Western Riverside County Clean Cities Coalition will be hosting its 9th Annual ''Advancing the Choice'' Expo on Wednesday, February 6, 2008. To highlight our newest member, the City of Temecula, this year's venue will be held at the South Coast Winery Resort & Spa in Temecula. The theme of the Expo, 'What footprints are you leaving behind?', will encompass regulatory fleet updates, green building, AB 32 regulations, sustainability, and the latest clean vehicle technologies available. The keynote speaker for the event is Ed Begley Jr. Mr. Begley came to audiences' attention for his portrayal of Dr. Victor Ehrlich on the long-running hit television series, ''St. Elsewhere,'' for which he received six Emmy nominations. Mr. Begley is known for his environmental practices to promote sustainability and will share his environmentally sustainable experiences. To highlight the Expo light, medium, and heavy-duty alternative fuel/advanced technology vehicles will be showcased, including school buses, transit buses, refuse haulers, an alternative fuel refueler, and a smart car.
