First Ladies of Komen Inland Empire Tea

Susan G. Komen® Inland Empire was established in 1998 by a group of women who lost a dear friend to breast cancer, Charlene March. Joan Sparkman, Vilma Buffman, Juanice Lovette Collette Murrey, Kelly Roberts, and Lori Stone believed in the Komen vision of a world without breast cancer. 

To this day, the Affiliate has invested more than $6.5 million toward the Komen promise. Seventy-five percent of funds raised are invested in local breast health needs and services. The remaining 25 percent is dedicated to the Komen Award and Research Grant Program to fund groundbreaking breast cancer research.
