This class will teach the basics of Photoshop, including how and when to use Photoshop. If you have ever wanted a better understanding of the program, or are looking to get started but don’t know where to start, this is for you.
 
Topics include:

• Difference between pixel-based and vector-based design
• Difference between RGB and CMYK (and other color modes)
• Basic knowledge of the interface and where to find things
• How to make selections and the different tools that can be utilized
• How to use masks and the difference between masks and channels
• Layers, including adjustment layers
• Blending modes
