Rady Children's Offers Free Classes for Parents

Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego will offer a series of free classes for parents in Southwest Riverside County called Raising Healthy Kids – Together! Child health and wellness experts from Rady Children's will cover and discuss topics from nutrition to behavioral issues. Rady Children's is providing these classes in response to a survey of parents in which the Hospital asked how it could help support parents – and what resources parents would like to be available. Raising Healthy Kids – Together! Class Schedule: • Basic First Aid, May 8, 6:30 - 8 p.m., Instructor: Stephanie Wilde, RN • CPR for Laypersons, May 15, 6:30 - 8 p.m., Instructor: Alex Barrios, LVN • Managing Difficult Behaviors in your Child, May 22 6:30 - 8 p.m., Instructor: TBA • Immunizations, May 29, 6:30 - 8 p.m., Chris Abe, Senior Director, Ancillary and Support Services • Nutrition/Healthy Cooking, June 5, 6:30 - 8 p.m., Instructor: Katie Miller, Clinical Registered Dietitian The classes will be held at the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce, 25125 Madison Avenue, Suite 108, Murrieta, CA. on Wednesdays, starting May 8 and end on June 5.
