Tour de Murrieta Bicycle Race

The Tour de Murrieta, is a two day bicycle race March 10-11. The event will host approx. 800 pro/amateur riders from around the country, and 2,000 spectators are expected to visit the downtown area during the event. There will also be a community kid's race at 2:10 pm on Saturday, sponsored by Pacific Western Bank (formerly Community National Bank), Murrieta. In an effort to promote the event, we are encouraging businesses in the area to have sidewalk sales, etc. in order to encourage shopping, and a festive environment in the Historic Downtown Murrieta. Additionally, race programs will be printed for race participants, they will be black and white and distributed to spectators.
