Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce Honors Local Leaders at the 2025 Annual Awards Celebration

Murrieta/Wildomar, CA – On Saturday, September 20, 2025, the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce hosted its 65th Annual Awards Celebration Dinner, themed “Limitless Horizons.” The event, held at the Murrieta Hot Springs Resort, brought together business leaders, community members, and elected officials to celebrate extraordinary individuals, organizations, and businesses whose vision and dedication are shaping the future of Southwest Riverside County.

Patrick Ellis, President/CEO of the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, reflected on the milestone evening, saying: “What a thrilling night at the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce’s 65th Annual Awards Celebration Dinner. For 65 years, this event has been a reflection of the heart and spirit of our communities. The theme for the night, Limitless Horizons, perfectly captured where we are headed. We honored extraordinary individuals, businesses, and organizations whose dedication and innovation not only inspire us today but also shape the future of Southwest Riverside County. The evening was about celebrating their impact, their vision, and the limitless opportunities that lie ahead for our region.”

The Chamber is proud to recognize the 2025 honorees:

  • Chairman’s Choice Award: Kim Gerrish
    As Executive Director of Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center, Kim Gerrish is recognized for her compassionate leadership and dedication to service. She has built a culture of kindness and inspiration, making Michelle’s Place a welcoming resource for clients, staff, and volunteers alike.
  • Tourism Partner of the Year: Tour de Murrieta
    Tour de Murrieta draws athletes, fans, and families from across the region, highlighting Murrieta as a vibrant destination. The annual event boosts the local economy and showcases the city’s energy, hospitality, and community spirit.
  • Wildomar Volunteer of the Year: Richard Pearce
    Richard Pearce has given his time more than 150 times this past year with the Wildomar Beautification Volunteers. From clean-up projects to fire response, his tireless dedication has kept Wildomar safe, beautiful, and full of community pride.
  • Murrieta Volunteer of the Year: Amanda Fisher
    Amanda Fisher, a board member of MilVet, is celebrated for her leadership and hands-on service supporting veterans. From fundraising efforts to care package programs, her work ensures that local veterans receive care, respect, and ongoing support.
  • Wildomar Citizen of the Year: Ezequiel Santos
    A longtime resident, Ezequiel Santos is dedicated to volunteering at local clean-ups and community events. His service reflects a deep love for his hometown and a vision for Wildomar’s future, including the dream of a community center.
  • Murrieta Citizen of the Year: Angel Anton
    As the owner of two childcare centers serving over 800 families, Angel Anton is recognized for creating jobs, supporting local businesses, and championing children’s success. Her leadership extends to nonprofit boards, faith-based service, and advocacy for families across the region.
  • Non-Profit of the Year: Animal Friends of the Valleys
    For 38 years, Animal Friends of the Valleys has provided shelter, rescue, and compassionate care for animals across the Valley. Their programs, partnerships, and emergency response services make them an essential resource for both animals and residents.
  • Restaurant of the Year: Downtown Public
    Downtown Public has redefined Murrieta dining with an open kitchen, locally sourced menu, and a community-focused space. Beyond the table, they support schools, nonprofits, and local causes, embodying hospitality that extends far into the community.
  • Small Business of the Year: The Valley Business Journal
    For more than 30 years, The Valley Business Journal has highlighted the people and organizations shaping Southwest Riverside County. Their storytelling, partnerships, and community investments make them a champion and connector for the entire region.
  • Medium Business of the Year: Mulligan Family Fun Center
    Since 1996, Mulligan Family Fun Center has been a beloved destination for families across the Valley. Their commitment to community support, school partnerships, and charitable giving has made them a staple of joy and generosity.
  • Large Business of the Year: Scotts Miracle-Gro Temecula
    Scotts Miracle-Gro is recognized for its innovation, workforce development, and culture of giving. With more than 300 associates locally, they invest in schools, nonprofits, and community programs while fostering a workplace built on collaboration and belonging.
  • Ambassador of the Year: Greg Quintana
    Greg Quintana is celebrated for his enthusiasm, reliability, and commitment as a Chamber Ambassador and 2024-2025 Ambassador Chair. His consistent support at events and ribbon cuttings has made a lasting impact on members and the Chamber team alike.

The event showcased the Chamber’s mission to champion, engage, and promote a thriving business environment while celebrating the extraordinary contributions of this year’s honorees.
